Writechip Terms of Use
This Terms of Use govern your access to Writechip’s services. By utilizing our platform, you agree to comply with these terms, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a user. This document establishes a clear understanding of the rules and guidelines associated with the use of Writechip, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for all users.
I. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Writechip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. Your continued use of Writechip following any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
To use Writechip, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. Writechip reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in any conduct that we believe is harmful to Writechip or its users.
II. User Accounts
Account Creation and Responsibilities
To access Writechip’s services, users must create an account by providing a valid email address and setting a password. Upon registration, a username will be auto-generated for you. Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information, including updating their first and last name in the account settings.
User Eligibility Requirements
Users must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement and agree to comply with these Terms of Use.
Account Security and Maintenance
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted under their account. Writechip employs encryption to securely store passwords. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or believe your credentials have been compromised, you must promptly notify Writechip support. Users can change their password and username through their account settings, while changes to the registered email address must be handled by contacting support.

Description of Writechip’s Features
Writechip is designed to assist users in creating high-quality content efficiently. The platform offers features such as an AI article writer, which generates well-structured articles based on user inputs. Additionally, Writechip includes an AI article outline writer that helps users organize their ideas and create a coherent framework for their articles. Utilizing advanced technology, including Anthropic’s Claude, Writechip ensures that the content produced is relevant, engaging, and tailored to meet user specifications.
Limitations and Disclaimers of the Service
While Writechip strives to provide accurate and effective content generation, users acknowledge that the results may vary based on the input provided. Writechip does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content generated through the platform. The service is intended to assist in the writing process, but users are responsible for reviewing and editing the final output to ensure it meets their needs and standards. Writechip disclaims any liability for damages resulting from reliance on the generated content.
IV. User Responsibilities
Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from engaging in any activities that may harm the integrity or functionality of Writechip’s services. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Misuse of the service, such as attempting to access unauthorized areas or disrupt normal operations.
- Violating copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights by using the platform to generate content that infringes on others’ rights.
- Submitting content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
- Using Writechip to distribute spam, phishing attempts, or malicious software.
- Generating content that promotes violence, hate speech, harassment, or illegal activities.
- Using the service to commit fraud or deception, including manipulating results or misrepresenting the nature of the content generated.
Responsibility for Content Generated Through Writechip
Users are solely responsible for the content they generate using Writechip. This includes ensuring that all generated content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on any third-party rights. Writechip does not assume any liability for the use or consequences of the content created on its platform. Users are encouraged to review and edit the output to align with their specific requirements and standards before publication or distribution.
V. Subscription Plans & Payments
Overview of Available Plans
Writechip offers three subscription plans designed to meet different content creation needs:
- Writer Basic: $14/month, includes access to the AI Article Writer with a maximum of 40 uses per month.
- Writer Pro: $33/month, includes access to both the AI Article Writer and Outline Writer with a maximum of 100 uses per month.
- Writer Enterprise: $124/month, includes access to both the AI Article Writer and Outline Writer with a maximum of 500 uses per month.
All plans are available on a monthly basis, with an option for yearly subscriptions at a 10 – 20% discount. Yearly plans are paid upfront.
Payment Terms and Conditions
Subscription payments are charged instantly upon purchase, and the billing cycle begins from the date of payment. Users can choose between monthly or yearly billing options. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled, and users are responsible for keeping their payment information up to date.
Refund Policy and Cancellation Procedures
Writechip generally does not offer refunds for purchased subscriptions. However, if a user has not utilized the service at all during the billing period, a refund may be considered upon request.
Users can cancel their subscription at any time via the Customer Portal found in the account settings. If canceled, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Users may also contact Writechip support to cancel their subscription immediately, but this requires first canceling the subscription through the portal.
For upgrades or downgrades, users must first cancel their current subscription and then purchase a new plan. The new plan will take effect after the current subscription period ends.
VI. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Content Generated
Users retain ownership of any content generated through Writechip’s tools. This includes the right to modify, distribute, and use the content for commercial purposes. Writechip does not claim any rights to the content created by its users and will not publish any user-generated content without explicit permission. For the purpose of improving the service and analyzing usage patterns, Writechip may track data related to the generation of articles.
However, users are responsible for ensuring that the content they generate does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights. Writechip is not liable for any disputes that may arise from the use of generated content.
Use of Writechip’s Trademarks and Copyrights
Writechip’s platform, software, and any associated trademarks, logos, or branding are the exclusive property of Writechip. Users are not permitted to use Writechip’s trademarks, logos, or copyrighted materials without prior written consent, except where required for proper use of the service.
Any unauthorized use of Writechip’s intellectual property may result in the suspension of service and legal action.
VII. Data Privacy and Security
Writechip is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its users’ data. Our practices regarding the collection, storage, and use of personal information are outlined in detail in our Privacy Policy.
- Data Collection and Usage: We collect certain personal information such as email addresses, usernames, and usage data to provide and improve our services. Additionally, content generated by users through Writechip is tracked and analyzed for internal purposes, such as enhancing the AI’s performance and user experience. Writechip ensures that this data is handled with strict confidentiality and is not shared, published, or sold without user consent.
- User Rights: Users have the right to access, modify, or request deletion of their personal information at any time. Writechip respects the rights of users regarding their data and ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Users can also opt out of certain data collection practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Compliance with Laws: Writechip complies with all relevant privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR, ensuring that user data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security of user data and protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
VIII. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Writechip provides AI-powered tools to assist users in generating articles and content. While we strive to offer high-quality and accurate outputs, we do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of the content generated. The information produced by Writechip may require further review, editing, or fact-checking, and users are responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of the content for their intended purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Writechip, its affiliates, partners, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or other damages, even if Writechip has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Writechip’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service, regardless of the form of the action, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Users acknowledge that they use Writechip at their own risk, and that the service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without any warranties, either express or implied.
IX. Modifications to Terms
Writechip reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time, at its sole discretion. Changes may be made to reflect updates to our services, legal requirements, or other operational needs. When significant modifications are made, we will notify users through prominent notices on our website or via email to ensure they are informed of any updates.
It is the responsibility of the user to review these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of Writechip after changes have been posted will constitute acceptance of the updated terms. If users do not agree with the updated Terms of Use, they should discontinue using the service.
X. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to the use of Writechip or these Terms of Use shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada. Users agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts for the resolution of any disputes.
